In-house Counsel - Contingent Risk/ATE

High growth insurance broker, known for M&A and Litigation insurance is seeking a mid-level lawyer. The broker offers full-suite services in relation to the modelling and application of a variety of insurance-backed and finance-backed solutions to help companies and parties to manage their risk exposure during litigation.  This vacancy sits in the Contingent Risk division, and the right candidate will be a qualified Solicitor with exposure to a wide range of commercial litigation or risk management.

The main focus of this team centres around development of tailored insurance solutions, designed to help mitigate the risks arising from litigation and other contingent matters. This requires understanding of risk profiles and requires both litigious experience and commercial acumen, to understand the pricing of risk around different matters.

Requirements

• England and Wales qualified Solicitor with 5+ years of post-qualification experience;
• Exposure to a wide range of commercial litigation or risk management;
• Experience with or exposure to litigation funding, ATE insurance or risk management in the context of insurance would be ideal;
• Knowledge of or experience with litigation insurance.
