The role
This top-ranking and award-winning firm is seeking a Leasehold & Enfranchisement Associate to join their City of London office.
You will work alongside the other partners to drive the department forwards, you will be at the heart of this growing team. You will oversee, mentor and train more junior members of the team with a high level of autonomy to make the role your own.
The Residential Property and Leasehold Enfranchisement team offer services to private individuals, overseas investors and private banks. This role will involve assisting with transactional conveyancing work in addition to leasehold enfranchisement matters relating to the Leasehold Reform Act 1967, the Landlord and Tenant Act 1987 and the Leasehold Reform, Housing and Urban Development Act 1993.
You will also gain the opportunity to undertake business development opportunities and develop a risk strategy for the team. This position will involve you managing your own caseload of files.
Requirements
- You will be an England & Wales qualified solicitor 2-4 PQE
- You should have experience in both transactional work, as well as lease extensions and enfranchisement
- Solid client management skills with a focus on client service
- Salary is competitive and negotiable depending on your level of experience (you will also receive an lucrative benefits package)
