What to expectA new and exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced IT Coordinator & Support Representative to join our pan-European business. The role is broad and typically no two days will be the same. You will contribute to a massive IT change program offering room for growth- managing the site technology requirements for 60% of the time. The rest of the time you will be part of a regional support organization ensuring a consistent, timely and high-quality level of technology support. As the UK IT Coordinator & Support Representative you will be responsible for the UK office, based in London. You will report to the IT Operations Manager in Munich (Germany). Apply Global StandardSupervise daily operations of network and server infrastructureAlign IT infrastructure with current and future business requirements and goalsEvaluating risk, developing network recovery and backup processesAssessing and purchasing new and replacement hardwareAssuring that IT activities are within the limits of applicable laws, codes and regulationsTesting, troubleshooting, and adjusting information systems to operate effectivelyImplementing security of the network, data and its storage and communication systems Be part of a wider team, headed in Munich, GermanyComplement the support team as part of a shift model, in conjunction with the wider organizationTo participate in technology planning and strategy activities to ensure that business objectives are metTo be proactive in identifying critical business, technical, and/or operational issues and then drive issues to resolution in accordance with the global roadmapTo work with local stakeholders to facilitate the development of functional and technical requirements Local Planning & Management in line with Global guidelinesManage local IT budgets, forecast, handling cash flow and enforcing cost-effectivenessSelect, negotiate and manage local suppliers to ensure that the highest standards of service are appliedEnsure that the global standards are implemented and followedTo work with UK stakeholders to facilitate the development of functional and technical requirements, in alignment with the central IT strategy and prioritiesBe the smile, the eyes and the hands of the Legal Technology department
