The Role:
This Top 50 Legal 500 firm is seeking an Associate Solicitor to join their Clean Energy team in London, with flexibility for home working.
You will be joining the highly ranked Clean Energy Team, within the wider Energy & Renewables Business Unit.
This department has an outstanding reputation for innovation and has worked with some of the most exciting companies in the renewable sector.
The team act as a real disruptor in the sector and provide advice to developers, investors and lenders regarding wind, offshore wind and solar generation as well as related technology such as AD, energy storage, EVCI and heat networks.
You will work on projects which require financing, corporate transactional, real estate, panning, grid, offtake and construction expertise. Working in a cooperative manner, this role will suit a candidate that thrives in teamwork scenarios.
The team is currently growing at a rapid pace, having attracted skilled solicitors from Norton Rose Fulbright, CMS, Pinsent Masons and Squire Patton Boggs, among others.
You will work as part of a team but will manage your own caseload and undertake a broad variety of work.
Requirements:
- 1 - 5 PQE England & Wales qualified Solicitor
- Experience or interest in Clean Energy
- Strong academic background
- Driven and a team player
