Sellick Partnership is currently working with a well-respected Local Authority who is seeking a Housing Lawyer. This assignment can be conducted remotely, however all hearings wil be held in-person. This will begin on a 3 month contract with a view to extend long-term on a rolling basis.

As a Housing Lawyer, you will apply your knowledge and experience to pick up a busy caseload mainly covering housing disrepair matters.

The successful candidate will be able to hit the ground running with the workload, which may include;

  • Housing disrepair
  • Housing possession claims
  • Injunctions
  • Contract disputes
  • Rent arrears
  • Anti-Social behaviours
  • Gypsy & Traveller cases
  • General civil litigation matters

The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, focussed and can hit the ground running to pick up and handle a busy caseload with minimal supervision. Criminal litigation experience is desirable however this is not a requirement.
