Senior Legal Counsel- Equity Derivatives Tier 1 Global Investment Bank
The Role : Senior Equity Derivatives Legal Counsel in a specialised team covering UK & EMEA
- Providing legal support for flow, structured and exotic equity derivative products including: options, delta one swaps, variance, dispersion and correlation swaps, corporate equity derivative and forward transactions
- Supporting the investible index businesses.
- Undertaking legal analysis & development of new products and strategies including advising on regulatory implications
- Creation and maintenance of product templates, guidelines and procedures
- Involvement in review of ongoing regulatory development impacting relevant products and services, including EU Benchmark Regulation, developing ESG requirements, MiFID II and UMR rules
- Liaising with external counsel in various jurisdictions to obtain quality advice in relation to business issues, developments and regulatory compliance matters
- Working closely with the business, equivalent internal legal coverage in other regions and other key stakeholders (Compliance, Tax, Risk, Credit)
- Engagement with industry forums and discussions, public events and external seminars in relation to developments involving the products
- City based with Flexible working

- Strong Equity Derivatives experience : flow & structured products
- In -house Banking or Private Practice experience
