An unmissable opportunity for a Junior or Newly Qualified Childcare Lawyer to join a popular and well-regarded London local authority on a locum basis.
If you're a Junior or Newly Qualified legal professional with experience in childcare law then Sellick Partnership want to hear from you. We're working with a fantastic council to help them find a Junior/Newly Qualified Childcare Lawyer to join the team on a locum contract.
This is a locum position of an initial 3 months, with the view to extend onto a rolling basis. The team tend to keep locums on long-term as they look to progress you within your career. The role will be remote working, but ideally the candidate with be London based or commutable from London.
The Junior Childcare Lawyer will hold a caseload of child protection matters, including:
- Care cases
- Pre-proceedings
- Attending Legal Planning and case management meetings
- Liaising with counsel and other legal parties
- Working with and advising social workers
Some prior relevant experience in child protection is desirable for this role, but any legal background is welcome, i. private practice or public sector.
