Ideally you will have proven experience in a compliance environment preferably in a professional services company such as a law firm. Particular experience in helping with file reviews would be useful.

Wide range of work involved
This is a varied role within a busy national firm. The successful candidate must have a keen eye for detail and an analytical approach to their work. Whether they're helping with file reviews or dealing with complaints, candidates must also display the utmost professionalism.
Managing risk and compliance and monitoring behaviours and practices within the firm is a key part of the role. Being able to collect and analyse data is also crucial. Observing and extrapolating trends is vital, as is keeping up to speed with the latest regulatory developments so that the firm remains compliant.
Compliance training and seminars
On occasion, members of the team are required to give training seminars and presentations to fee earners including key stakeholders. A compliance analyst must also be capable of identifying incidents or issues which may require escalation. The role requires excellent communication and presentation skills.
