Legal Counsel (Events & Entertainment)

Would you like to work for a global leader in the events and entertainment industry? My client is seeking Legal Counsel in a new role to join the existing well established team and can offer a varied commercial role working for the European side of the business.

Based at the European Corporate Head Office in Manchester and reporting to General Counsel (Europe), the role will support the business and its subsidiary catering company on all commercial legal issues. This is an excellent opportunity to work in house with an established in house team on a range of interesting projects.
The Role:

· assisting with the management of the contracts database and developing precedent documents
· assisting with the management of the companies' statutory books and records
· reviewing, drafting and negotiating various contracts including supply chain contracts, venue hire contracts, sponsorship agreements and other customer contracts
· legal research
· giving ad hoc legal advice to a range of stakeholders
· assisting with commercial contractual disputes
· supporting the mobilisation of new venues
· providing advice on the impact of new legislation / regulations
· working closely with the other members of the legal team to provide support on new business and other significant projects

This role would suit a lawyer with 0-2 PQE gained either in commercial contracts law or another relevant discipline with a well regarded practice or in-house organisation.
