The Team

The Intellectual Property Practice team has an unrivalled track record in providing strategic advice at the highest level in all forms of intellectual property (IP). The practice is also highly valued by innovative leaders in the Technology, Media, Telecommunications, Life Sciences and Retail sectors. It is highly ranked in the Legal 500 for Intellectual Property and recognised in many of the leading Directories.
The team advise on all types of (IP) disputes. The department has experience and expertise in working on patents, trademarks, copyright, passing off, domain name, design right and breach of confidence claims.
As an associate within the IP team you will be responsible for managing your own client portfolio across trade mark and patent, copyright and database rights matters whilst assisting on existing caseloads and leading business development activities. Whilst the role is predominantly contentious there are elements of non-contentious IP work. There is also the opportunity to work on IP portfolio matters and trade mark and design contentious registry proceedings before the tribunals and courts.

The Role
You will proactively manage your own files and supporting the partner's on more complex, high value actions. You will enjoy offering well rounded, commercial, advice and strategy to a fantastic variety of clients and projects.

The Candidate

You will be an experienced qualified lawyer with IP trade mark, copyright, database rights with a track record, and desire to excel, in litigation.
