REGIONAL COUNSEL, GLOBAL TELECOMS BRAND, DUBAI

We are working closely with an international telecommunications brand, who have a Dubai hub for their Middle East and Africa work. With expansion plans in mind, they now have the need for a new lawyer in Dubai, who can act as Group Legal Manager.

ROLE: You will support the group across a wide variety of needs, as their business line is expanding to cover areas such as mobile calling, home broadband, gaming content, and financial services. You'll work autonomously for the most part whilst having guidance and leadership from other global offices, and an HQ from the UK and Group CLO.

Areas you will work across are outlined as new territory and product launches, M&A, regulatory, disputes, TMT, IP and general commercial contracts. The work will be very broad ranging from one day to the next.

CANDIDATE: There are some key criteria for the role:

- Likely to be a common law qualified lawyer with international standard work.
- PQE range of around 5-10 years.
- A broad telecoms or TMT background is ideal.
- Candidates already based in the UAE will have a distinct advantage.
