Due to succession, this Top 100 law firm is seeking a Head of Dispute Resolution to lead them firm-wide across their eight offices in the South of England.

The Role: The firm is seeking a Head of Dispute Resolution.

  • You may well be based in London for this role. However...one of their offices is likely commutable should you live along the M4 Corridor. The firm has a network of 8 offices.
  • The firm is looking to hire a big-ticket commercial litigator who can also lead/manage the function firm-wide.
  • A unique opportunity, as the position has become open due to retirement. As such, there is an established, fully operational function to go into and make your own.

The Department:

  • This Top 100 firm's team of Dispute Resolution solicitors works from offices in London and the South of England.
  • Clients are varied, from multi-national corporations to start-up businesses.
  • Frequently advise on multi-million-pound international disputes but also have experience helping individuals.
  • A significant part of the department's work involves international disputes and those involving parties in foreign jurisdictions.
  • The focuses of the Disputes departments include ADR, Banking & Financial Services Litigation, Civil Fraud, Company & Partnership Disputes, Commercial Disputes, Energy Disputes, Data Protection/GDPR, Insurance Disputes, Insolvency & Restructuring, IP Disputes, International Dispute Resolution, Litigation Funding and Property Disputes.

You will:

  • Be a Senior Commercial Litigation Lawyer with the ability and track record of leading and managing a department.
  • Have solid client management skills with a focus on the delivery of excellent client service.
  • Have good experience managing a department ideally, or at least a significant size team.
  • Work from the London office (flexible working available) or one of their offices across the South of England.
