Our client, pre-eminent US law firm with stunning City based offices, are seeking to recruit a Senior Facilities Assistant to join their Office Services team.  Assisting the Facilities Manager, this role will provide a pro-active first class service to all fee earners and business services staff, ensuring that the needs of the client are met and whilst supervising and mentoring the Facilities Assistants on the team.

 

Duties for this Senior Facilities Assistant position will include the printing, scanning and binding of documents for all departments, ensuring copy checking and implementing new procedures where necessary coupled with a focus on the procurement and controlling of all stationery and office supply equipment.  As this firm is going through an expansion phase, a large part of this role will also include assisting HR to ensure all new joiners are correctly set-up with the relevant equipment with new starter packs and desk readiness.  Office moves will also be a part of this remit along with the timely delivery of internal and external post, arranging of national and international courier deliveries and general floor walking and housekeeping to ensure a seamless service is provided.

 

Senior Facilities Assistant Key skills: 7 years+ facilities / office services experience with team leading / supervisory responsibilities, ideally within a law firm environment. Excellent knowledge of reprographics (scanning, printing from data rooms, experience with Command Workstation or other bulk print software and Canon MFD’s formatting and printing excel spreadsheets) and MS Office (Word and Excel).  Working hours are 9-5pm, salary £37- 42,000 plus excellent employee benefits, depending on experience.
