Locum Legal Services Manager – Predominantly Remote Working – up to £550 per day –Midlands
Venn Group’s Public Sector Legal team are currently recruiting capable candidates to join a Local Authority as a Locum Legal Services Manager in the Midlands.
Expected duration:
3 months +
Hourly rate:
Up to £65 per hour umbrella
Skill level:
Qualified Lawyer (Solicitors, Barristers and highly experienced CILEX professionals)
Working pattern:
Predominantly remote working office attendance would be required 1 – 2 times a fortnight
Full time, however those with the relevant skills that can only work part time will also be considered
This is a position ideally looking for those who have existing experience of working within Local Government and holding management responsibilities.
Duties may include:
Being responsible for the management and overall provision of effective and timely legal services to the Authority
Advising on various day to day legal issues and assisting the Head of Law and Governance on the legal budget process and business planning
Deputising for the Head of Law and Governance and Monitoring Officer as and when required
Regularly reviewing and updating systems and procedures within the legal team
The position offers an a daily rate between £400 - £550 dependent upon levels of experience.
