Venn Group are currently working on an excellent opportunity for a Locum Childcare Solicitor to join a Local Authority in the South West.

This will be a 12 months, fully remote working contract and they are ideally looking for a candidate to commit full-time to this role. 

The hourly rate is £70 per hour to attend court and up to £60 per hour for fully remote working via an umbrella company

Previous experience handling a childcare caseload for a local authority would be preferred.

Duties and responsibilities will include:

• Providing advice on childcare services, policy and protection of children

• Conduct advocacy on behalf of the Council as may be necessary

• Supervise Paralegals and assist with any support required the team
