Our client is a prestigious London law firm – they are now looking to recruit an IT Project Manager to join their incredibly busy IT team in London.
The IT Project Manager will deliver a specific set of projects on time within budget and scope, coordinating with IT and our central PMO team. You will have a background in business skills, management, budgeting and analysis.
The standard hours are 9.30am to 5.30pm. The salary on offer is up to £75,000 FTE. This role is a 9 Month FTC. The client is currently operating a hybrid working approach.

Your responsibilities as an IT Project Manager:
- Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects
- Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
- Developing project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders
- Ensure resource availability and allocation
- Develop a detailed project plan to track progress
- Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs
- Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques
- Report and escalate to management as needed
- Manage the relationships with all stakeholders
- Perform risk management
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
- Prepare reports for senior management
Requirements as an IT Project Manager:
- Proven experience as a Project Manager
- Experience of working within a law firm/professional services firm would be advantageous
- Thorough understanding of project management techniques and methods
- Proven track record of delivering multimillion pound programmes
- Prince II/PMQ/PMP certification essential
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office; working knowledge of program/project management software
- Outstanding leadership and management skills
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
