PERSONAL INJURY SOLICITOR - CASUALTY
£36,000 - £42,000/ Hybrid WorkingA fantastic opportunity for a personal injury Solicitor (NQ - 2) with a leading defendant personal injury firm within their Birmingham office. My client is a Top 50 UK law firm with an excellent reputation for dealing with international insurance clients and public sector bodies. They currently have a role available within their Casualty team to work on a varied caseload acting on behalf of several of the firm's key clients.
The Opportunity
- You will assist a partner & team handling a caseload of local authority claims, including EL/PL and social care cases, and all other types of local authority litigation work.
- This may include working on document heavy type work or assisting on preparing for Inquests or Public Inquiry's
- Understand and advise on new and developing areas of law such as the evolving duty of care, human rights, defamation and data protection/information law.
The Candidate
- A similar background in a defendant law firm would be ideal, with a high standard of verbal and numerical reasoning and the ability to analyse, evaluate and communication information logically is key
- Previous experience managing defendant EL/PL casualty claims is essential
- Experience of handling own casualty caseload
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal and team working skills
