The EL/PL department advises all manner of leading national insurers on a range of matters from 'volume' litigated EL/PL work to complex injury and large loss. As such, they can offer fantastic, long-term career progression. They are also involved in challenging cross-border matters relating to multiple jurisdictions.
The team also has key specialisms in advising sector-specific clients in particular areas such as the private and public sector as well as 'third sector'. Furthermore, they train and host seminars to keep their clients up-to-speed with the latest case law and statutory developments in this area. This is a dynamic department handling a varied mix of work for a range of clients from straight forward 'slips and trips' to more complex injury all the way up to high-value large loss claims.
Nature of work
Successful candidates will advise on a range of fast track and multi track work. They will also have the opportunity to work with more experienced lawyers, including Associates and Partners in order to build their experience of more technical, high-value files.
