Corporate Tax Associate

Are you a creative thinker and Problem solver? We have teamed up with a global law firm that prides itself on serving the world’s most innovative people and businesses to source them a Corporate Tax Associate to join their team in London.

The Firm

• Top tier international law firm, who offer some of the most complex and interesting cases on the market. They have a particular focus on working with IP rich, tech focused businesses.
• Their clients range form blue chip companies to PE backed, growing enterprises.

Responsibilities:

• The candidate will work alongside the Partners and existing Associates to form tax advice, mainly to clients of other practice areas of the firm, but also clients instructing the group.
• The candidate will work with fee earners across the firm, but particularly in the corporate, real estate, finance, IP, IT and private client practice areas.
• Areas of focus will be M&A, private equity structuring and transactions, corporate and IP/IT structuring, financing and refinancing transactions and structuring (Both from a direct and indirect tax perspective). Candidates are expected to have at least some experience within these areas.  
• The candidate is also recommended to take an active role in the business development initiatives driven by both the team and other areas of the firm and in the development and presentation of training programmes for the group and wider firm.

 Key Skills:

• UK- Qualified solicitor or barrister
• Ideally between 2-6 PQE
• Strong academics and technical ability
• Strong Client management and communication skills
