The Role

The firm are looking for Court of Protection Solicitor to join their busy city centre department in Manchester.

You will join a well-established team that is going through organic growth due to the success of the department.

You will work closely with family, friends and careers in relation to deputyships applications, welfare benefits claims, investments of funds, local authority issues, making a will, buying and adapting property, employment issues with carers and attorney disputes.

You will be a team player with strong communication skills; combined with a friendly and professional approach to work and will be adept at working to targets within a busy team.

Requirements

• You will ideally be at least 3 years PQE (there is no upper limit in terms of PQE and less may still be considered)
• You should have a strong background in this area of law
• A meticulous eye for detail
• You will be commercially minded and enjoy business development and marketing

• Salary is competitive around market rate, which will be dependent on experience, on offer is an excellent benefits package and bonus scheme
