Senior BD and Marketing Executive role, with a strong element of event management. Management Consultancy. Flexible location / Remote. 12 Month FTC. Salary up to £50k.
We are working with global management consultancy, with a friendly and down to earth team in London. They are looking for a Senior BD and Marketing Executive to join on an initial 12-month FTC, to primarily support their Life Insurance sector group. Joining a small team of 5, there will also be the opportunity to support across the business on a global level.
The role will have a large element of event management, working on large scale strategic conferences, especially across EMEA as well as flagship US events. On the BD side, the Senior Executive will support the sector lead on client targeting initiatives, pitches, business plans, thought leadership and tracking. One of the key objectives for the firm this year, is to develop more structure around their Key Account programme and the role could get involved in this as well!
The role could suit someone from a marketing and events background who is looking to develop into a broader BD role. Or the role could suit a BD professional, who is looking to step away from a bids heavy role. There is lots of flexibility to fit the role around an individual and get involved in project that suit you!
Key requirements include:
- Event management experience is essential Wider marketing and BD experience would be desirable Professional services, FS or insurance industry experience is essential Experience of CRM systems, such as Microsoft Dynamics, would be helpful Able to persuade and gain buy in from stakeholders Adaptable and happy to get stuck in with new team initiatives
Location: The team is based in London but there is lots of flexibility. They are happy for someone to work hybrid and come in 1 or 2 days a week. Or if someone wants to work fully remote and travel a couple times a month for key meetings and team socials then that is also an option.
