The Commercial Property department comprises 24 lawyers across two offices in Sheffield and Leeds. There is flexibility with which office you work out of and an open policy to working from home, as your work-day dictates.

The Department specialises in advice to private individuals, companies, and trusts in specialist sector teams focusing on rural and estates, charities and social enterprises, education, faith, transport, commercial and residential sectors.
The Role:
As a result of organic growth, the firm now requires a Commercial Property Solicitor to strengthen and add value to its high-achieving Property Department.
This role can be based out of the Sheffield or Leeds office, emphasising WFH flexibility.
The principal areas of work would include:

  • Sales and purchases
  • Landlord and tenant and agricultural tenancies
  • Secured borrowing and lending
  • Our specialist sectors: rural and estates, charities and social enterprises, education, faith, transport, commercial and residential
  • Development sites
  • Regular property work, including title queries and registration work



You will be given autonomy across your transactions and gain exposure to more complex work alongside Senior lawyers and Partners. You will also be allowed to shape your career by focusing on particular areas of Commercial Property and becoming an expert within your field.

Requirements:

  • You will be an experienced Commercial Property Solicitor or Legal Executive with a minimum of 1 Year PQE
  • You will have the ability to demonstrate a clear understanding of Commercial transactions
