Interim Democratic Services Officer
Sellick Partnership are actively recruiting two experienced Democratic Services Officers on behalf of our local authority client.
The role will initially be for 3 - 6 months with the possibility of extension. This will be a hybrid working arrangement whereby the successful applicants will largely work from home, however some meetings are now in person so attendance may be required once per week/once per fortnight.
Duties include:
- Forward planning, in consultation with appropriate officers and members, of the business of the bodies allocated to yo
- Lead on individual committees as allocated by the Head of Governance, acting as the lead for the Committee on matters such as agenda preparation, minute production and public attendance
- Arranging the meetings (where not already scheduled) and ensuring that appropriate arrangements are in place for the accommodation and other facilities required for the meeting
Experience of Modern is essential.
