Assistant General Counsel - German Qual / Experience

We are exclusively partnering with a global multi-disciplinary consultancy firm that are continuing to experience exceptional growth. They support clients with business-critical decisions and change across a range of issues such as global situations, disputes, risk, and transformation.

The organisation has ambitious plans to continue their international expansion, and so an additional UK based lawyer is required to work across the EMEA and APAC regions.

Role Overview

Working alongside the Associate GC you will be responsible for varied work across the EMEA and APAC regions. Although part of an international legal team, your role will be an additional hire in the UK and so there's flexibility to mould the role around you.

Responsibilities include:

• Managing commercial agreements from negotiation to execution including engagement letters, confidentiality, and supplier agreements
• Provide advice across varied areas of law including commercial, corporate, data protection and IP
• Support in the development and automation of processes

What they're looking for

You'll be a mid-level lawyer who has experience, or qualification, in German law. Experience across the US, and other EMEA / APAC jurisdictions would be useful but not essential. You'll have strong private practice experience and/or have worked for a leading global organisation.
