Opportunity to join a well-regarded NHS Trust as a Claims and Inquest Assistant!
Sellick Partnership are working with a London-based NHS Trust to assist them in finding an Inquest and Claims Assistant to support the Inquest team.
The successful Claims and Inquest Assistant will be earning within the Band 4 Salary banding (£22,549 - £24,882), and will have the opportunity of hybrid working.
The Claims and Inquest Assistant will be a resilient individual with good people skills who has worked in a legal services department. They will have dealt with bereaved families and/or sensitive matters in previous roles; experience of working on an inquest would be ideal.
Duties:
- Assist with the management of claims
- Collate reports and prepare files
- Assist with queries/contact relating to inquests, draft responses to legal enquiries and support in preparation of inquest cases
- Liaise with family of the bereaved, including sharing information and helping through the process as necessary
- General admin including note taking, diary management, scheduling, etc.

The Inquest Assistant will enjoy a hybrid of home and office working, office presence will be required given the nature of the role, so the Inquest Assistant must be based in or around the London/Essex area.
