THE ROLE
An experienced Legal Counsel is sought for a new role in a growing team. Hybrid working arrangements are available.
The role will involve managing legal risk and providing commercially focused legal and regulatory advice and support with primary focus on the company's commercial business.
You will be mandated to manage legal and regulatory matters within the commercial business, draft and negotiate commercial contracts, in particular broker distribution and other insurance related agreements, while advising on related legislation and regulation.
ABOUT YOU
With excellent contract drafting and negotiating skills, you will have the ability to manage a wide variety of work from operational to strategic.
Your experience should include drafting and negotiating insurance distribution and related contracts such as:
TOBAs
delegated authority agreements
appointed representative agreements
panel arrangements
broker remuneration contracts
co-manufacturing provisions.
Knowledge of regulation and relevant laws concerning insurance distribution including FMSA, FCA rules including ICOBS, PROD, CASS, perimeter issues, connected contracts and other exemptions is also required.
