CLIENT: We support this global banking client across a wide variety of their offices, and they now have needs in Abu Dhabi. They have a strong legal team with many individuals having been with the business for years. Numerous divisions now have the need for extra hands, to assist in growing and managing the business.

ROLE: The opportunities will see you advising global banking across various European offices, as well as the UAE. The main focus will be on developing and initiating new customer banking products and services, as well as digitisation initiatives, transactional finance matters, global corporate finance, payments technology and regulatory. There will also be exposure to European real estate finance transactions, and LMA documentation. Other duties will include process streamlining, corporate governance, compliance, as well as dealing with broader commercial documentation and general finance matters.


CANDIDATE: There are some key criteria to take into consideration before applying:

- 5+ PQE from a recognised bank, financial institution, or top tier law firm.
- Ideally educated, trained and qualified to international standards.
- Exposure to a global money market / major jurisdiction.
- Strong backbone with one of general finance.
- Exposure to the Middle East market would be ideal but relocations from overseas are also fine.

Good quality, well trained lawyers with exposure to broad finance, loans, transactions, payments, consumer banking, wealth management, or Islamic finance, should get in touch for a discussion.
