The Role:
You will join the UK's leading Technology Disputes practice as a Senior Associate in the firm's Manchester office.
Working closely with the London office and the firm's international network, you will be working on the most high-profile and engaging disputes in the UK and beyond. The work will involve a broad range of tech, cyber and data disputes, including software licensing, outsourcing agreements, cyber incidents, regulatory investigations and data protection.
As a Senior Associate, you will work closely with the team's Partners to develop the practice further through mentoring junior lawyers and building on client relationships. You will also take the lead on disputes, allowing you to develop your leadership ability which will be vital as you progress towards partnership.
This opportunity is rare in Manchester, given the usual London focus of this work. You will receive hands-on support to develop, a transparent progression path and an attractive remuneration package.
Requirements:
- As a guide, this role would suit a Litigation Lawyer with 5+ years PQE
- Experience within Technology is essential, with cyber/data experience being desirable
- You will have gained experience in a respected disputes team at a large regional or city law firm
- Have a commercial drive and desire to develop & progress
