The role:

This highly ranked Legal 500 and Top 150 UK law firm is seeking a Senior Associate 4+ PQE to join the Emerging Companies team.

As this is a senior position you will hold responsibility for mentoring more junior members of the team and conducting client-facing matters such as business development to continue the growth of your personal practice as well as that of the team.

Ideally, you will have an interest in growing your own practice in the technology space and wider innovation economy - as this is the key base of the team's activities and client base.

You will be advising rapidly growing start-ups and tech businesses as they continue to scale. You will also provide advice to those that back these agile companies, such as angel investors and, venture capitalists, syndicates and institutions.

The work itself will include advising on IP issues and share options as well as the main task of advising on and closing investment transactions from the seed stage through to large later-stage investments.

Requirements:

• England & Wales Solicitor with 4+ years PQE
• Experience in share options and funding rounds
