International media business looking for a Privacy Lawyer to join them on a short-term basis to undertake a review of the organisation's current GDPR setup - reviewing/amending contracts, policies and staff training methods. The company is also launching an exciting new service to customers in September and needs to ensure that the process is compliant with GDPR.
The ideal arrangement would be to take someone on for around 6-12 weeks on a 3 day/week basis. But the business is also open to considering individuals on a 4 or 5 day/working week, but a shorter overall contract. Remote working is fine, as long as you are based in the UK. And given the time of year, the business can also make allowances for the contractor to pause their work whilst heading off on summer holidays that may already be in the diary.
You must be a qualified lawyer with extensive privacy/GDPR experience as well as having the ability to advise senior stakeholders in the business on a stand-alone basis.
This project has been classified as Outside IR35 so limited company operators are encouraged to apply.
