Business Development Executive role supporting a top tier Banking Litigation practice. International focus. London with hybrid working. Salary up to £50,000, plus good bonus!

This top international law firm, with an incredible reputation, is looking for a Business Development and Marketing Executive to join their growing disputes team. This role will focus on the BD strategy and campaigns for their Banking Litigation practice, working with around 15 Partners. The role will also work closely with the Senior Executive and BD Managers across the disputes and litigation group.

This role doesn’t involve many bids, and takes a really strategic approach to BD, developing large scale thought leadership campaigns. These could include pieces on crypto currency, ESG and future cities. The role will also get involved in key account management, most likely managing one of their top Banking clients. This is a great role for someone who wants autonomy to run and lead their own projects, whilst still having wider team support to learn and develop.

Key duties for the Business Development Executive will include:

  • Acting as an adviser to the Banking Litigation group on all BD initiatives Developing and implementing business plans for the group and individuals Supporting on firm wide cross selling initiatives Managing client relationships and developing growth strategies Managing collateral for the practice and providing the bid team with research and insights as needed Tracking and analysing key clients and markets, identifying opportunties Project managing client targeting events, working closely with Partners to ensure ROI Prepare legal directory and award submissions for the group in collaboration with the PR team

The role would suit a BD assistant who is ready for a step up or perhaps a BD executive from a smaller firm who is looking for a strategic global role. Ideally candidates will have experience of the full year BD lifecycle. An interest in disputes and FS is key. And candidates need to be confident with senior stakeholders and be able to advise and persuade when needed.

The firm offer the chance to work in a top BD team, whilst maintaining a good work life balance. The Senior Managers in the team are fantastic, as are committed to mental health support and nurturing talent in the team. We’ve seen many people in firm be promoted over the years! They also have agile working in place, with a hybrid working model of 2 or 3 days in the office a week.
