Sellick Partnership are currently recruiting to an 3 month, on-going locum within a highly regarded London Borough Council. The role is remote working, with occasional office attendance for team meetings/supervision (3 - 4 times per month).
The Childcare Lawyer will:
- Hold a caseload of care cases and pre-proceedings matters
- Advise social workers
- Liaise with counsel and external parties
- Attending meetings
- Draft applications and documents
The council are a fantastic team with a great reputation; the Childcare Lawyer will feel welcomed and supported.
Prior experience in childcare law is essential while local authority experience is desirable. The Childcare Lawyer can pick up advocacy if they wish to but this is not required or expected.
