Job Purposes:

This company is one of the UK’s leading insurance groups. As a Counter Fraud Technical Specialist, you will be an integral part of the legal team, providing expert advice and guidance to those around you. This includes your peers, claimants and defendants. You will be required to build relationships with partners, be tasked with motivating the team, and be expected to assist and support the creation and development of a Counter Fraud Department within the company’s legal services.

Key Skills:

Essential

  • Circa 5 (rough guide) years PQE or equivalent legal experience.
  • Experience in fraud litigation.
  • Excellent analytical skills.
  • You must be able to identify issues and disseminate and develop best practice.
  • Ability to deliver training, both internally and to clients.
  • Ability to proactively run workloads in an efficient manner.
  • Ability to provide technical guidance and practical solutions to clients and teams.
  • Ability to work under pressure and to manage conflict constructively.
  • Must be able to use your initiative and prioritise workloads.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication.

Beneficial

  • Legal experience in motor industry fraud.
  • Litigation experience in the detection and prevention of fraud.
