In-House Paralegal - Basingstoke

Excellent opportunity for a Paralegal to join a highly reputable electrical engineering and energy services company.

Our client is one of the largest operators of rapid electric vehicle charging stations across the UK. They are currently looking for a Paralegal to join their office in Basingstoke, Hampshire.

The role will involve working with their in-house legal team on all legal matters, but primarily working with their partners to progress and complete leases (in respect of their charging equipment). Duties will include:

Drafting, reviewing and negotiating leases with the client's solicitorCarrying out of title review and circulating this to the internal teams together with raising any necessary title enquiries with the Landlord's solicitorSupporting the development of standard legal documents and templatesLegal ResearchWorking closely with external solicitors and internal teams to ensure processes are followed throughout the lifetime of the projectSubmitting SearchesSubmitting HMLR ApplicationsWayleavesCable Route Reviews

To be considered, you must have experience of contract and land law processes and procedures. You will have at least 6 months paralegal experience and have a law degree/ be CILEX educated.

On offer is a competitive salary of up to £32,000 and an attractive benefits package. The firm are open to remote working as long as you come into the office 2-3 times a week.
