NQ-5PQE Residential Development Associate, National Firm, Nottingham or Leicester

This leading national practice and "Times 100 Best Companies to work for" firm are looking to recruit a NQ-5PQE Real Estate Associate to join their Tier 1 ranked Real Estate team based at their Nottingham or Leicester offices.

The Firm

This is a well known Chambers & Legal 500 recognised practice with a wide range of clients throughout the UK with many clients having strong international connections.

The Team

The firm's residential and strategic land development team is one of the largest teams at the firm, with 30+ lawyers, mostly based in Nottingham (but with presence in all their offices and supported by large planning, plot sales, construction and tax teams).

The team act for most of the top-10 house builders, local and national developers, housing associations, landowners, local authorities, investors and promoters in the residential development and strategic land sectors.

The Role

Handling a broad range of residential development matters to include:

- General residential development and strategic land matters
- Acting for house builders, promoters, developers, land owners, housing associations and/or local authorities
- Handling and advising on acquisitions and disposals, conditional and unconditional contracts
- Golden-brick and other affordable housing transactions
- Back-to-back sales, deeds of easement
- Infrastructure agreements
- Service charge/ management agreements
- More complex transactions including site-assembly, strategic land, overages, mixed use schemes, institutional investment, portfolio charging and portfolio acquisitions

The Candidate

- Qualified Solicitor
- NQ-5PQE
- Sound demonstrable real estate experience in line with PQE
- Demonstrable business development & marketing experience
