Our client is an elite US law firm – they are now looking to recruit a Legal Talent Coordinator on a permanent basis to join their fantastic Legal Talent team in the City.
The Legal Talent Coordinator will provide support to the London Legal Talent function. Assisting the Senior Legal Talent Manager and Trainee Recruitment & Legal Talent Manager with trainee and associate recruitment, as well as the integration, development and retention of all non-partner associates with delegation (as appropriate) to the Legal Talent Assistant.
The Legal Talent Coordinator will focus on the trainee program, summer program and diversity fellowship, whilst also supporting some lateral recruitment.
You will ideally have previous HR / legal talent / recruitment background experience gained from a legal or professional services environment.
This is a full time, permanent position, hours for this role are standard 9:30am-5:30pm. The client is currently operating a hybrid working pattern. The role will be paying up to £37,000 plus very generous benefits!

Your responsibilities as a Legal Talent Coordinator:
- Assist with all aspects of the London Trainee programme
- Assist in the administration of the online application system
- Ensure the accurate and timely tracking and payment of expenses related to recruitment
- Assist with the offer process and ensure that appropriate documentation is produced
- Assist the trainee induction programme Help facilitate the trainee performance evaluation process to ensure it is delivered effectively
- Assist with all aspects of the London office summer programme
- Help coordinate summer programme activities
- Coordinate and attend summer programme events
- Assist with the full life-cycle recruitment process for lateral associates
- Assist with the associate offer process, including 1st draft of the offer recommendation memos
- Assist with firm’s diversity recruitment initiatives
- Respond to recruitment queries (from individuals and agencies)
- Assist all aspects of new associate arrival, orientation and initial development
- Manage diaries for interviews, meetings, workshops and other events
- Take notes at meetings where necessary
- Book rooms, organise catering and other requirements for events and meetings
Requirements as a Legal Talent Coordinator:
- Previous legal recruitment experience
- Previous experience working within Legal Talent/ HR within law firms
- Part CIPD qualified
- Previous Trainee recruitment experience
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Highly skilled on all MS Office applications
- Ability to be flexible to meet the demands of the work
