Job description: We have a fantastic opportunity to join a highly-esteemed University in Lancashire as a Senior Contracts Officer. The role is full-time, permanent role with the offer of flexible working from home or remotely for part or most of the time.
Main Responsibilities:
- Providing expert advice, guidance and administrative support to the University’s research community in the development of bids for externally funded research
- Providing a range of research support activities at both pre and post-award including advice on funders terms and conditions, proposal preparation, costing and pricing and post-award grant administration for research grants and contracts
- Negotiating and drafting formal research, enterprise and engagement related contracts with a wide variety of funding bodies and collaborators
Salary: £35,326 - £40,927
The successful candidate will have sound legal knowledge and experience of contract analysis and negotiations as well as a high degree of professionalism.
