Principle Property Associate

We have an exciting opportunity with one of our highly ranked international law firms in Birmingham. Our client is looking to recruit a lawyer with 5+ PQE to join the Birmingham team as a Principle Associate in their commercial development and investment team.

The Role:

• We are looking for a Senior Associate who has gained good experience working within a recognised real estate team with experience of advising sophisticated clients on the acquisition and the disposal of substantial real estate investment assets, pre-letting and active leasing and asset management (ideally including some work for occupational tenants).
• Some development experience would also be helpful but not essential, but a willingness to learn the skills required of a development lawyer, with supervision, is required.

The Candidate Requirements:

• Ideally have gained experience in a city firm or a large regional practice.
• Candidates must be technically excellent but equally important, commercially aware and enthusiastic.
• They will be a team player with a strong client focused approach.
• They will also have a strong academic background and excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Encouraged to have developed a sector focused to their practice.
• Private equity experience would be beneficial.
