Property Paralegal

This leading firm, with offices in several locations across the UK, is looking for an experienced commercial property paralegal to support a real estate partner.

The position will be based in Borehamwood, a great location and easily accessible from surrounding areas, including London, to which there may be very occasional travel.

The successful applicant will assist on general commercial property matters, as well as property finance, and examples of responsibilities include:

• Drafting template reports on title under supervision
• Drafting security documents for review/approval
• Responding to clients, agents and brokers
• Opening files and preparing engagement letters
• Dealing with post-completion documents and post
• Ordering documents from Land Registry

Applicants should have experience in a similar role i.e. as an experienced real estate paralegal, ideally with exposure to real estate finance work. A sound knowledge and understanding of real estate transactions is important and you should be familiar with case management systems. 

This position may also suit a legal secretary with experience of assisting a senior commercial property solicitor with their caseload and who is looking to move into paralegal work.

Salary will be dependent on experience. However, we have worked with this particular partner for many years and can assure potential applicants the package will be more than competitive.
