Paralegal/Compliance Junior, Financial Services

We are currently seeking a law graduate to support a team of corporate and finance transactional lawyers working in business roles for a European financial services organisation. This is a varied role which has career development opportunities as the role develops and your understanding of the business increases. Primary tasks will mostly revolve around client onboarding, dealing with KYC requirements and monitoring the progress of work with tight time and deadlines. You will be a point of communication between clients and the business and should be confident with a good telephone manner. You will be expected to highlight and deal with any compliance/AML issues, escalating where necessary and you will prepare documentation, manage client files and update databases. You will be required to participate in team meetings, assist with sales and marketing events, work on marketing communications, and identify new business opportunities.

For this position, you need to have strong academics with a law degree. Some office experience would be useful but is not essential but part of your studies or work experience should have provided you with knowledge of corporate law or financial services regulation.
