The investment banking arm of a high street bank is currently looking to hire a mid-level trade finance lawyer to join it’s small, tight team based in London. In this unique position you will cover the full product suite for trade finance rather than being siloed into a specific area, and work will include working capital advisory, pure trade finance, invoice financing, supply chain and receivables finance. Transactions booked in London are of an international nature but you will also cross over and build relationships with international offices as you liaise with the friendly front and middle offices.
We are hoping to find a finance lawyer around the 3 to 6-year qualified mark who has some experience of trade finance and the associated issues that arise in this area. The role would suit someone looking to develop their skill set and who wants to freedom to run their own transactions. The bank has a good culture with respectable hours and no presenteeism culture.
