Environmental Mid to Senior level Associate 4+ years’ PQE LONDON

Highly-regarded commercial law firm in London is looking to recruit a mid to senior Associate level Environmental lawyer of at least 4 years’ PQE. The team advises on various aspects of environmental liability, regulatory compliance, risk transfer and strategic sensitive environment issues at domestic and EU level. Matters they undertake include the transfer of liability in transactions; energy from waste and alternative energy operations; contaminated land issues; advice regarding prospective and impending legislation and the impact on business practice; investments and products; representing companies in regulatory investigations including crisis management, interviews and court proceedings; contractual and regulatory liabilities; pursuing appeals in respect of environmental permits; statutory notices and regulators' decisions; and, civil litigation.

Clients include multi-national and national organisations and they undertake work for clients across a very broad range of sectors including: chemicals, cleantech, construction, consumer products, energy, energy efficiency, energy from waste, environment consultancies, finance, infrastructure & projects, insurance, manufacturing, real estate & hotels, renewables, telecoms, transport, water and waste management.
