Associate - Commercial Disputes

The Role:

The firm is seeking an Associate Commercial Disputes Solicitor 3 - 5 years PQE, to join its highly ranked team based in the City of London.

This position will report directly to the Partner leading the Commercial Disputes team. You will organise and manage your own caseload as well as occasionally on Partner-led projects.

This role comes with the opportunity to supervise more junior members of the team, making it an excellent opportunity to gain soft skills and develop your career. There is a clear progression path to Senior Associate, with this role acting as a key stepping stone.

With the team currently experiencing organic growth this is a particularly exciting time to join. In a firm where a fifth of Partners are "home-grown".

The team acts for high-calibre Corporate clients, such as some of the UK's largest house builders and housing associations, prominent leisure trusts and large multinational corporations. You will also have the opportunity to work with smaller businesses operating in niche areas and for well-known high-net-worth individuals.

The work consists of acting on contract disputes, corporate governance disputes, partners disputes, fraud, negligence, insolvency, enforcement, cyber security, IP infringement and defamation.

Requirements:

• England and Wales qualified solicitor with 3-5 years PQE
• Experience in commercial disputes is essential
• Able communicator with a client focus
• Good work ethic and a commercial mindset
