Commercial Property Solicitor | Reading | Salary Up To £50,000

Join a progressive Reading-based firm, as their new Commercial Property Solicitor; working in a department led by two partners, the successful candidate will assist one partner directly, undertaking a broad mix of commercial property work. The position offers a salary of up to £50,000. 

The Firm: 

• Become a part of a firm that advises property occupiers, investors and financiers on all aspects of property law, including development work
• The team provides a full range of commercial legal services to both residential and commercial property developers and construction clients
• They also work with land owners looking to realise the value of their estates
• From initial planning and environmental concerns, through to the sale and acquisition of development sites, and on to the selling of completed plots, the team can provide clients with expert guidance, advice and support throughout the process

The Role: 

The team has particular expertise in office and retail premises, secured lending and VAT on commercial property. Clients include landed estates, major occupiers, charities and clearing banks.

As the new Commercial Property Solicitor, your duties will include: 

• Acquisitions and disposals of commercial property
• Commercial leases, acting for both landlords and tenants
• Secured lending
• Investment property acquisition advice
• Options and conditional contracts
• Management of property owned by charities
• Telecommunication leases 

Desired Skills: 

• The ideal Commercial Property Solicitor will have an excellent academic background (2:1 degree)
• You will be UK qualified and have a keen interest in marketing
• First-class interpersonal and written skills are required to be able to use your initiative, have a flexible attitude to working hours and work well with a team
