An unmissable opportunity for a 2-5 PQE Associate to join a global 100 law firm and be part of an innovative and quality led team who advise on a broad range of corporate finance work in London. 

Firm: 

  • This firm is top 3 by volume of UK ECM deals, Tier 1 in corporate and commercial as ranked by the legal 500 and are on a growth trajectory in their London location 
  • This firm has achieved more tier 1 rankings in the legal 500 UK guide than any other firm.

Role: 

  • This role will include a broad range of corporate finance work and is interpreted as doing corporate work for listed companies and investment banks and other intermediaries active in the public markets.
  • Examples include advising on IPOs, secondary fundraisings, take overs and providing day-to-day advice to the boards of listed clients.
  • Assist in coordination of tendering exercises with lenders to ensure market leading terms are attained
  • Assist with negotiation of loan financings at asset or fund level
  • Lead multiple projects and transactions at any given time.

Candidate Requirements: 

  • Legally Qualified as an Associate in England and Wales
  • 2-5 PQE
  • Ideally gained experience in a city firm or large regional practice
  • Experience in Equity Capital Markets deals and (ideally) Public M&A 
  • Strong academic background
  • Proven ability to work well with various partners and customers
  • Strong interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Analytical and financial skills with a track record of execution against deliverables;
  • Creative self-starter with strong initiative, ability to take ownership and work independently as well as contribute to the broader team
  • Ability to multi-task and succeed in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, multi-national language skills preferable
