An outstanding opportunity for a Private Client Solicitor to work alongside a Senior Partner at this L100 firm in central Leeds, with hybrid working patterns. 
 
This leading team are looking to strengthen their Private Client Department with the hire of a Private Client Solicitor circa ideally 3PQE+ although candidates will be considered from NQ+. 
 
You will be managing your own caseload, dealing with a variety of Private Client matters to include but not limited to:

• dealing with the administration of Trusts
• liaising with Stockbrokers in respect of Trust assets
• completing tax returns, including calculating the tax where necessary or liaising with accountants
• deal with the administration of Estates
• meeting bereaved clients and Executors to take instructions and manage estate
• taking instructions and drafting Wills to meet specific requirements
• meeting clients (in the office or at their homes) to take instructions and give advice on the making of Lasting Powers of Attorney
• completing tax returns on behalf of clients
• looking after a number of clients where Partners are appointed as Attorneys under Enduring Powers of Attorney and Court Orders
• registering Enduring Powers of Attorney at the Court of Protection/Office of the Public Guardian and where necessary, preparing and registering, Lasting Powers of Attorney
• dealing with complex issues that require research and discussions with other members of the Private Client department
• attending the STEP lectures, departmental meetings and all introducer meetings.

To be considered for the role you must have experience in wills, probate, powers of attorney and estate management.
