The Role: 

The new Senior Legal Counsel will: 

• Work with a company built on collaboration, innovation and a network of global talent
• Conduct a hands-on role, working very closely with an array of TV channels, including Sky Sports and ITV
• Have prior knowledge and experience negotiating and drafting contracts and agreements independently, with excellent attention to detail
• Hold experience in operating within an unstructured/start-up environment
• Be able to understand the contracting process, the legal issues and the rights involved in programme acquisitions
• Have strong negotiation skills and the ability to interact with senior stakeholders both internally and externally
• Be able to develop relationships with key internal customers by quickly and accurately drafting, negotiating and implementing a range of commercial agreements
• Independently prepare and manage legal documentation (contracts, legal correspondence, etc.) and other materials related to job duties

Your Profile: 

Suitable candidates for this role of Legal Counsel will have the following skills and qualifications:

• Qualified Solicitor in the UK or relevant jurisdiction.
• Broad commercial lawyer
• 4 - 8 Years PQE.
• A keen eye for detail, with excellent contract drafting skills
