Insurance & Construction Professional Support Lawyer (PSL) - 6+ PQE
Location: Bristol
A leading specialist law firm with a strong presence in the Insurance and Construction sectors is looking for a Professional Support Lawyer (PSL) to join their team in Bristol and support their Legal 500-ranked team of lawyers. PSL roles are a fantastic alternative career path to fee earning.
As a PSL, your job would be to support fee earners by: keeping up to date with precedents and changes in certain areas of law that the firm practices, business development work, legal research assistance, knowledge management (creating banks of know-how information, training programmes and various other supportive projects), helping assist with client briefings and strengthening client relationships, creating and maintaining important useful documents such as legal commentaries and articles, and delivering top-quality development/training programmes across all levels.
You should be an expert in this field, someone who is passionate about this area of law, and someone who feels confident in their ability to help others learn and develop using their own knowledge gained after years of practicing in these areas. The ideal candidate will have experience in both Professional Indemnity and Construction law plus excellent drafting and presentation skills.
