The Role:

• This is a standout opportunity for a Charities Legal Director to join the firm's dynamic office in Leeds, with hybrid working in place
• You will advise a broad range of charities and social enterprises, from community interest companies and not-for-profits to incorporated & unincorporated charities and charitable organisations
• As such, you will manage a diverse caseload covering all aspects of charities matters, including governance & compliance issues, fundraising, mergers, employment, joint working, commercial structures and property matters
• As a Legal Director, you will also drive the development of the department, supporting the junior members of the Charities team, with investment from the firm to progress on a clear route to partnership
• The department are succession planning and keen to find their next generation of senior lawyers, making you an integral part of the growth plan

The Ideal Candidate:

• An experienced Charities Solicitor with a minimum of 9 years PQE
• Strong business development capabilities
• First-class communication and an entrepreneurial flair
