A global 500 Law Firm is seeking a Cyber and Technology Disputes Lawyer to join their international TMT disputes practice, to carry out work relating to cyber, intellectual property, privacy, data protection, media, defamation, service contacts and commercial contracts.

The London based Law firm has one of the leading Technology, Media and Telecoms practices in the UK, the Partners are legal 500 and Chambers & Partners recognised. The TMT department has been involved in some of the significant cases of recent years including the most significant data protection claim of 2021. The Law Firm's clients include E UK, Rolls Royce, Matalan, Laura Ashley and Google.
Description
The Cyber and Technology Disputes Lawyer Key responsibilities will include, but not limited to:
- Dealing with contentious cyber /privacy, technology and media related matters
- Defending group litigation
- Managing the full cycle of cyber security incidents
- Assisting with business development activities
- Managing regulatory investigations including appealing enforcement decisions
- Managing complex contractual technology disputes
Profile
The ideal Cyber and Technology Disputes Lawyer will:
- Have Excellent academics
- Have a TMT background with experience in dealing with complex technology litigation and cyber/privacy litigation
- Have a working understanding of recent and upcoming regulatory changes in the world of data protection
- Have a desire to work on complex litigation matters
- Be 5-10 years PQE
